After Infiltrating the Cult and Falaath Village, accept Among the Faithful from Missionary Jasaan. Go to the inn on Falaath Village's north side, use the upstairs wardrobe and listen to the cultists. Return to Constable Aonda in Shen'dar Village; Havoc in the Highlands follows. Only sparkles can indicate the reported Beta spawn bug. A September 22 recovery report is community evidence, not a Blizzard-confirmed fix.

What not to do

Do not abandon the quest as a first troubleshooting step. Some players could not immediately pick it up again; later reports identify a possible re-offer NPC, but recovery varied.

What is still unknown

The exact spawn trigger, whether every layer is now healthy, and a Blizzard-confirmed quest-specific fix remain unverified.

Before you start: the quest chain

The Forever quest database independently lists Infiltrating the Cult → Falaath Village → Among the Faithful → Havoc in the Highlands → To Valanaar. Missionary Jasaan starts this step in Falaath Village. Check your quest log for the preceding step rather than looking for a second missing-dresser quest.

Where to find the dresser or wardrobe

The quest description points to the inn on Falaath Village's north side. Player instructions place the clickable wardrobe upstairs, where Skypriest Aanders and High Priestess Lorthuna speak. Click to hide and wait for the conversation objective to complete. Sparkles without furniture match the separate missing-object reports; no unverified coordinates are needed.

Where to turn in the quest

Once the conversation objective is complete, return to Constable Aonda in Shen'dar Village. Check for Havoc in the Highlands next; the listed chain continues with To Valanaar. If you cannot turn in, first confirm that the listening objective actually completed rather than repeating Scan and Repair.

Current bug status

The September 18–21 forum thread contains many missing-dresser reports and mixed results for relogging, fully restarting, Scan and Repair and switching layers. On September 22, one player reported that the quest worked after a reset. That is encouraging but not proof of a universal fix. Blizzard’s published Build 69977 notes do not specifically list Among the Faithful as fixed.
