Quick answer

Choose a guide for your current task: test eligibility, a named broken mechanic, pass progression or Trials rewards. These are different systems, not one permanent new mode.

October16 Hotfix2.1.1 is separate from2.1.0
Embark reports a released hotfix for specific unintended locked-room access and item-duplication cases. It is not a new loot reward, a recovery guarantee for missing items or a permanent PvE announcement. Keep exploit reproduction details out of public guides and report a remaining case privately through the developer's support channels. The PvE test remains scheduled to end October20 at11:00 CEST /09:00 UTC; no source reviewed here confirms its permanent retention.

Start with the decision you actually need to make
A missing PvE option can follow a map-condition restriction or the test schedule; it is not automatically a server failure. A blocked skill or quest objective needs the2.1.0 checklist instead. A pass-level mismatch belongs to progression, while season placement belongs to Trials. Each guide separates an official rule from a practical check.

What changed, and what has not been promised
Frozen Trail added Pendola Pass and new systems on October 8. The October 13 notes say2.1 was going live and the PvE test was starting. Embark has not promised the test will become permanent: feedback and game data inform that decision. Do not spend resources or plan a season around an assumed permanent PvE queue.

Use current-build evidence for a fresh failure
The named fixes below are publisher statements, not a guarantee for every installation. Record your platform, installed version, mode, map condition and exact symptom. Keep account and payment information private. An old video or one unusual loot run cannot establish a current drop-rate formula or universal repair.
