Activision's October 16 release notice confirms Campaign Early Access is live for eligible Standard Digital or Vault Edition preorders/purchases. It names Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, PS5, Battle.net, Steam and Nintendo Switch 2. Its Known Issues page separately says an issue preventing some Xbox on PC installations from showing the Campaign launch button has been addressed; remaining affected players should restart the game. The October 15 publisher clarification resolves the launch-access question directly. It names October 23 for the standalone launch and Holiday 2027 for Game Pass inclusion, not a precise future subscription release hour. Existing subscription access to other Call of Duty titles is a different entitlement. Do not infer that a launcher displaying MW4 artwork or offering a preload means the subscription owns this game.

Inspect the account and purchase record on the storefront where you obtained the game. A subscription tile, an older Call of Duty installation and a completed download are not interchangeable proof of a purchase. If you already bought MW4, preserve that receipt and ask support to inspect the exact account/store entitlement rather than buying a second copy to experiment.
