Deadlock · EVIDENCE-LED PLAYER HELP
Deadlock Ranked Requirements, Parties & Season Date
Check Deadlock Standard wins, hero eligibility, calibration, duo limits and the updated season end before diagnosing a blocked ranked queue.
Quick answer
Valve's July 30 system requires 60 Standard wins and at least three heroes with 15 Standard wins each before Ranked. Calibration is eight solo games; after calibration Ranked supports solo or eligible duos. October 6 moved the first season end to November 5, replacing the original October 7 date. Read the current client's eligibility message before assuming a queue fault.

Check the blocked requirement in order
Count Standard wins, then eligible heroes, then calibration, then party restrictions or active sanctions. A hero can be usable in Standard but not yet eligible for Ranked; party membership does not bypass calibration.
| Item | Current information |
|---|---|
| Account / roster | 60 Standard wins; at least 3 heroes each with 15 Standard wins. |
| Calibration | 8 matches, no party during calibration. |
| Ranked party | Solo or duo; ordinary duo at most1 Rank apart. Eternus only with another Eternus within 3 Subranks. |

Season timing: read the later announcement
The October 6 notice says November 5,2026 at 2pm PDT, next season immediately after. The developer prints PDT even though that calendar date crosses the usual daylight-saving change. This guide retains the printed wording rather than inventing a definitive UTC conversion; check the current client/next announcement near rollover.

Rank points are not a fixed per-game entitlement
Eleven named ranks use six subranks, with Obscurus marking uncalibrated status. Valve describes average rather than guaranteed point changes; promotion boundaries and Eternus thresholds differ. Read the post-match change/history instead of calculating a promised rank from wins alone.

Match quality reports need match evidence
Standard permits broader parties and adjusts for hero experience; it is not ranked points. For a suspected mismatch retain the match identifier, region, mode, party and hero. A bad match or recalibration result does not itself prove the matchmaker broken or one hero overpowered.
