What the official roster shows

Great Sword appears with Pyro, Dual Blades with Keres and Raya, Bow with Luka and Madelyn, Lance with Arkaya and Ouyang Varen, Long Sword with Midori, and Heavy Bowgun with Pepper.

How to choose

Use the published character descriptions to compare broad melee, guarding and ranged styles. Specific DPS, combo rotations, crafting paths and weapon swapping rules require launch-version verification.

What remains unknown

The roster alone cannot establish a full launch weapon catalogue or an optimal build. Do not import weapon statistics from Monster Hunter Wilds or older games.

Google Play adds Hammer to the published set

The Level Infinite listing explicitly names Hammer alongside the six previously visible profile weapons and says more weapons will join in future updates. That is a publisher feature statement, not an independent launch-client test or a schedule for the additional types. Keep character associations from the older profiles separate: no Hammer adventurer or unlock route is inferred here.
