ARC Raiders 2.1.0 Fixes: Skills, Gondola & Quest Progress

Check whether ARC Raiders 2.1.0 addresses your exact sprint, Field Repair, Pendola Pass extraction or Picking Up the Pieces symptom before trying unsafe workarounds.

Quick answer

Embark's October 13 patch lists fixes for Broad Shoulders failing on spawn, Field Repair requiring a restart, Gondola extraction eliminations, Picking Up the Pieces loot-area credit and Reward Pass display/progression errors. Update first and reproduce the same symptom. These scoped fixes do not establish that every crash, lost item or progression complaint is resolved.

October16 Hotfix2.1.1 is separate from2.1.0

Embark reports a released hotfix for specific unintended locked-room access and item-duplication cases. It is not a new loot reward, a recovery guarantee for missing items or a permanent PvE announcement. Keep exploit reproduction details out of public guides and report a remaining case privately through the developer's support channels. The PvE test remains scheduled to end October20 at11:00 CEST /09:00 UTC; no source reviewed here confirms its permanent retention.

Match the symptom to the patch, not just the word broken

For sprinting under the increased weight limit, the relevant fix is Broad Shoulders activation on spawn. For a newly unlocked Field Repair that did not work after an earlier round in the same session, the notes remove the restart requirement. These are different failure paths: a normal overburdened character or a different interrupted action should not be reported as the same bug without checking conditions.

Pendola Pass: separate extraction, climbing and quest credit

The notes address elimination while inside the extracting Gondola, make Grappling Hook vaulting more reliable and fix visits to loot-icon areas not counting for Picking Up the Pieces. Compare your exact action with the relevant entry. A missed jump, an unfinished objective and an extraction loss require different reproduction details; the update supplies no guaranteed recovery of previously lost equipment.

Pendola Pass: separate extraction, climbing and quest credit
ItemCurrent information
Gondola extractionAn elimination despite being inside and extracting is the named fixed case.
Picking Up the PiecesVisiting loot-icon areas not receiving objective credit is the named case; no new hidden route is claimed.
Grappling HookImproved top-of-rope vaulting, landing a swing and tether behavior; not immunity from every fall.

A safe single-variable retest

Keep the same platform and compare the relevant action on the installed update. Check the current weight/skill state for a sprint complaint, the exact objective for a quest complaint, and the extraction moment for a Gondola complaint. Do not delete saves, unlink accounts, buy equipment again or repeatedly risk expensive kits simply to test a claim.

Official status: Publisher fix scope plus conservative editorial retest steps

  1. Record installed build and the precise symptom before changing settings.
  2. Test the matching mechanic in an ordinary session, keeping other variables stable.
  3. If it persists, report map/condition, action and time with the original patch entry; redact account details.

Performance and rewards need separate interpretation

The update reduces memory use on Spaceport, Buried City and Dam Battlegrounds, with particular benefit cited for Xbox Series S. It also corrects Reward Pass progression and prior-round milestone counting. Neither note promises a specific FPS increase, a universal crash cure or automatic compensation. Compare the current pass screen and completed objective before calling a display mismatch permanent data loss.
