AION 2 Server Transfer: Eligibility, Cost and What Moves

Current capacity is an additional transfer condition

Check source and destination capacity on the hour, then the correct regional window and eligible server week. A closed round may reopen in a later round, but NC also warns of permanent closure for excessively requested servers. Do not pay for extra character slots assuming capacity is reserved; existing 0 Quna eligibility, level/faction checks and irreversible-transfer warnings still apply.

Europe's first window is an explicit exception

The updated Products Info and Q&A print October 13 04:00–07:00 PDT / 13:00–16:00 CEST for Europe's first period. It precedes the separately announced October 13/14 maintenance; do not silently move it to October 14 or substitute it for normal daily windows. At this October 14 check that dated exception has elapsed. Confirm current Shop availability and the server's eligible week before making an irreversible request.

When transfers open: early access is not launch-server transfer

Early Access servers: after October 13 PDT / October 14 CEST regular maintenance until before October 20 PDT / October 21 CEST maintenance. Launch servers: after October 20 PDT / October 21 CEST until before October 27 PDT / October 28 CET maintenance. Each region has daily application windows; the transfer option can be unavailable outside those hours even if you meet all character requirements. Check the in-game Shop notice for the current local window, especially around the European daylight-saving change.

Actual price and number of uses

Official base price 0 Quna; per-character price 0 Quna; a one-time transfer per account for the stated event. Additional destination character slots, if needed and allowed, cost 1,000 Quna each. Example: six characters but four available destination slots needs two additional slots, costing 2,000 Quna. A free transfer does not mean every possible slot-expansion is free.

Daily application windows by region

The notices publish the following PDT windows. These are application hours during the eligible transfer week, not maintenance completion times. Their CEST/CET labels are reused across the European clock change; check the current in-game notice rather than treating a printed conversion as an unambiguous local time.

Before opening Shop → Server Transfer

Review all requirements before committing: character level 10 or above; be in an eligible village rather than a dungeon/Abyss/Rift; no Legion membership or pending application; no active Duty missions; collect outstanding market sales and proceeds, unclaimed Shop Storage items (including Founder’s Pack items) and mail. Confirm compatible region/faction/server type and capacity. The official rules warn that confirmed transfers cannot simply be reversed.

1. Verify this is the Global service and your server belongs to the currently eligible week.
2. Check the published purchase window for your region.
3. Move transferable belongings out of Server Storage and collect outstanding items/mail.
4. Confirm destination space, name changes and any extra slot charges before accepting.
5. Save a private screenshot of the confirmation; do not share account credentials.

What transfers, what stays or changes

Characters, Wings, skills, quest progress and listed account/character systems are included. Kina in the Cube and Character Storage transfers, but currency and items in Server Storage are not automatically carried across; server-storage expansion records follow separate rules. Your character gets a temporary name and must choose a name on first login. Current-server character-slot expansions do not simply carry over; destination capacity matters. Read the two official notices before transferring partial groups, shared cosmetics/pets or Genus Insight.

Shared currency, season records and transfer risks

Quna and Mileage move and combine with the destination balance. Membership combines and is removed from the origin; Daeva Pass progress, Season Ranking Points and Season Mission progress transfer. Server Storage items stay behind, while its expansion count uses the higher of the two servers. Genus Insight requires choosing origin or destination data and resets on the origin. Purchased duplicate Pets/Skins have specific ticket rules: consult the notice before accepting rather than assuming a cash refund. Transfers require the same region and faction; Early Access can only transfer to Early Access during its week. Capacity limits apply even if you already own a destination character. Completion cannot be canceled or reversed; the account is temporarily unable to log in while processing.

Why is the transfer button unavailable?

The official Q&A identifies timing outside a daily application window, closed departure applications, capacity limits and unmet purchase prerequisites as separate causes. Do not confuse these with a global server outage or a fix for login-server errors. Do not attempt repeated purchases or delete characters to test availability.
